Symptoms of COVID-19
The common symptoms of COVID-19 are also similar to those of Common Cold. Some of its possible symptoms are as follows -

  3. shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  4. Tiredness
  5. muscle or body aches
  6. Headache
  7. loss of taste or smell
  8. sore throat
  9. running nose
  10. nausea or vomiting
  11. Diarrhea

It is important to note that not everyone with COVID-19 experiences these symptoms, and some may have mild or none at all. Some people may experience more severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, confusion, or blue lips or face, which require immediate medical attention.

Home Remedies for Common Cold
You can get relief from the cold by adopting some home remedies. Some of these home remedies are as follows-

 ➤  Mixture of black pepper, dry ginger, and basil. These are all wonderful herbs and are available in every household. Boil these ingredients in water. Sieve it after 10 minutes and drink it, if it becomes too pungent, put jaggery in it. You should take it at least twice a day. It really helps in cold and flu. Break dry ginger or fresh ginger and take its juice daily.

 ➤  Ginger contains a substance called gingerly. Which is beneficial for the throat. Tulsi accelerates the process of making antibodies in the body. The combination of these three helps in protecting you from cold and flu.

 ➤  Ginger juice, honey and turmeric. Take a spoonful of honey, add a few drops of ginger juice, and add a pinch of turmeric to it and mix them. Now eat this mixture in the morning and evening. It will help you to get relief from cold and flu. 

 ➤  Honey has a soothing effect on the throat and turmeric boosts immunity. This mixture is also a very good mixture for cold and flu.

 ➤  Mix ginger, jaggery, and turmeric, make small laddoos of these three, and eat them in the morning and evening. It also helps a lot in curing cold and flu. For this, make powder by grinding jaggery, and adding a pinch of turmeric and a spoon of ginger powder to it. If you have a dry cough, then you must add two to three drops of ghee to it. After mixing all these, make small laddus and eat them in the morning and evening.

 ➤  Apart from this, gargle with lukewarm salt water, which will give relief to the throat and will also help you with cold and cough. You must do this three to four times a day.

 ➤  Drink warm water during cold and flu. Hot water removes all the dirt from our bodies, so hot water must be drunk.
